Job Description

The Ideal Account Executive Candidate will (1) be passionate about applying Jeb Blount’s Sales Gravy (and other) best practices to attract, prospect, and close high value deals and Clients; (2) have a track record of selling innovative SaaS solutions to B2B clients; and (3) have demonstrated the ability to create deep client relationships in one or more industry verticals.

Account Executives are responsible for bringing the 42Chat mission to life by prospecting and acquiring clients in assigned industry verticals and target accounts where 42Chat solutions deliver both high ROI and high retention.

The Account Executive is responsible for:

Prospecting Assigned Vertical and Target Accounts
: create an sales strategy to drive demand generation through outbound prospecting to an assigned vertical and named target accounts
Sales Cycle Management: effectively manage the full sales cycle using proven, existing process from lead generation to close
Sales Enablement: monitor, maintain and report sales funnel activities, results and accurately forecast sales funnel
Product Support: report key learnings around the sales process, customer needs and potential product development opportunities to the sales and product teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 
Sales -  B2B Sales Experience

The Account Executive role is a full-time position. We hire talented individuals with initiative and drive and as such, we provide the flexibility you need to be successful at work and at home. While most team members work from 8 am to 5 pm, it’s up to you to self-manage your time consistent with the goals and expectations for your role and the needs of your team. As a virtual company, you can live anywhere you want, as long as you can get the job done. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for success in the role.

Over the first year, the Account Executive will be trained on the 42Chat sales process and work with leadership to deliver on the monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals, primarily through self-managed prospecting and client and partner referrals.

Short-term Scorecard

The Account Executive is tasked with accomplishing the following business objectives during their first two months of employment:

Within the first two weeks:
   - Bring excitement and energy to the job, experience our products, engage with your team members and be intensely curious
   - Complete the pre-role reading of New Sales Simplified and Fanatical Prospecting (ideally prior to your first day)
   - Demonstrate the ability to use existing sales tools including HubSpot, LinkedIn, and Seamless.ai

Within the first 30 days:
   - Complete the required onboarding sales training
   - Perfect the inbound Lead management process to turns leads into deals
   - Partner with existing Sales team members to participate and learn 42Chat Prospecting (NOT traditional Cold Calling), Call and Opportunity Management, and Client Discovery.
   - For the assigned vertical, research and understand the competitive landscape and 42Chat points of differentiation and collaborate on the identification of at least 100 target companies, roles and contacts

Within the first 60 days:
   - Demonstrate a deep understanding of the 42Chat Prospecting and Sales Process
   - Begin Prospecting and create your deal pipeline
   - Close your first deal from an inbound Lead
   - Have multiple deals in Stage 4 or higher

Compensation
   - Compensation: $65K base + $65K+ bonus potential (with accelerators above quota)
   - Medical Insurance: Company paid for the individual and 75% of family
   - Dental Insurance: Available, paid by the individual
   - Start Date: Immediate
   - Vacation: 21 days inclusive of holidays (you track and schedule)
